September 2006
The times are changing. And so is Pachyderm Racing.
The year 2000 saw the inception of this elite running club, and what a year it was. Co-founders and siblings Ed and Laura Eldridge hit the New England 5K running circuit like a herd afire. The Team hit new heights on October 21st, 2001, when Ed completed the Bay State Marathon in Tyngsboro, MA. Laura subsequently completed the Sheraton Hyannis 1/2 Marathon in February of 2002.
Since this time, Pachyderm Racing has evolved, adding four additional team members:
*Michael Eldridge: Mike has spearheaded the urban movement of Pachyderm Racing, making his presence known in Chicago, New York, and LA. Pachyderm Racing is honored to have this "star power".
*Kim Harriman: Dubbed "NH District Manager" in 2004, Kim has put in her share of miles, and is a true believer in the Pachyderm mantra - NO T-SHIRT? NO RUNNING.
*Shaelyn Eldridge: Shaelyn has participated in a number of runs, and is now putting in more biking miles than either of the above-mentioned members. No pressure guys.
*Erin Eldridge: Erin has grown up with Pachyderm Racing, which began when she was only two years old. She made her mark almost immediately, however - after her first race (at age 4)she had to have her name legally changed to "maniacal sprinter". Sprint fast, Blue Froggie - we're coming to get you this year!
